Davis Translite is looking to add an additional shop technician/laborer to our growing team! Individuals interested in secure, steady employment with a company that has been serving the Northwest for over 70 years are encouraged to apply. We perform all maintenance and repairs for our fleet of 65 units in-house.

Details

• Must have a general understanding of mechanics and general tool use, but not specific to truck or trailer repair. Interested in individuals with a strong work ethic that are willing to learn new skills and further their mechanical knowledge.

• A CDL is not required for this position, however basic tools and toolbox are required (or the ability to obtain).

• Shift is Sunday-Wednesday 6am-5pm (4-day work week)

• You will be responsible for performing basic repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services on the shop floor. This includes oil changes, tire replacement, brake replacement, and wheel end repair on trucks and trailers.

• Training will be provided for all aspects of this job.

• Must perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

• Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks with other members of the team.

• Ability to perform physical activity. Must be able to push and pull objects over 50 pounds.

• The work environment is indoors in a large, clean, heated, and well-maintained shop!
